We have been blessed with the presence of our nephew CJ from Virginia since last Tuesday. We have had so much fun since he has been here. He got here late last Tuesday night. Wednesday we went to Nagoya for lunch. CJ and Meme both had their first hibachi experience and loved it. CJ was not so excited about the sushi, but at least he was brave enough to try it. I think we have started a new addiction for Meme though. After lunch we went to the movies to see Toy Story 3. I have loved all of the Toy Story movies, and this one was no exception. It was a little more emotional than the other two though. CJ has been such a sport, going and doing with us and being patient with Rachel. You would think she can't walk when he is around, as she makes him carry her at all times. Here are a couple of pictures from our first excursion:
Wednesday we went to GattiTown, which was a first for all of us. That place is so much fun! I really think the grown up had as much fun as the kids. Correction: one kid and one teenager. I can't believe he is 14 and in high school. We ate at their fabulous buffet and played for hours. Rachel walked away with 518 tickets and CJ with over 600 tickets. He really impressed me when they went to pick out their prizes. Rachel picked out all her prizes and then wanted a bracelet, but she didn't have enough tickets left. CJ saved enough of his tickets to get her the bracelet, and it made her day. No wonder we all love him so much. We left GattiTown and went for snow cones. What a fun day! As you can see from the pictures, Rachel kind of made up her own rules for the games. :)
